1. Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to use of this website and to area rug cleaning services provided by iRPro Rugs (Area Rug Cleaning Chilliwack) in Chilliwack and the surrounding Fraser Valley, British Columbia.
2. Estimates
Estimates provided by phone, text, email or through the website form are preliminary. They are based on the information and photographs supplied and cannot account for fibre, construction, contamination or damage that is only identifiable on inspection. The final price is confirmed after in-person inspection and before cleaning begins. If inspection changes the figure, you may decline and the rug will be returned.
3. Scope of service
We provide area rug cleaning. We do not provide wall-to-wall carpet cleaning, hard-surface cleaning, upholstery cleaning, reweaving, reknotting or structural rug repair. Where a rug needs work outside our scope, we will say so and, where we can, suggest where to look instead. See services for what we do offer.
4. Inspection and pre-existing conditions
Every rug is photographed front and back at intake. Pre-existing conditions — wear, dye bleed, sun fading, moth damage, dry rot, prior repairs, delamination, odour and permanent staining — are documented at that point. We are not responsible for conditions present before cleaning, and cleaning may make some pre-existing conditions more visible once soil is removed.
5. Limits of cleaning
Cleaning removes soil and, in most cases, contamination. It cannot be guaranteed to remove every stain or odour, and it cannot reverse dye loss, restore abraded fibre, undo fading, replace missing fringe or repair structural damage. Where results depend on the rug's condition, dyes, construction or contamination, we will explain what is realistic before proceeding. No specific outcome is promised.
6. Satisfaction guarantee
Our 60-day satisfaction guarantee applies to the cleaning work we performed. If something we cleaned was missed, contact us within 60 days of delivery and we will address it. The guarantee does not cover pre-existing conditions, new soiling or damage occurring after delivery, results we advised in advance were not achievable, or third-party work. Remedy under this guarantee is re-cleaning of the affected area. Refunds and credits are handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the applicable service agreement and circumstances.
7. Pickup, delivery and storage
Door-to-door transport is included at no charge in Chilliwack. Outside Chilliwack, a flat round-trip transport fee applies, covering travel time and fuel. Outlying communities are collected on scheduled route days. Scheduling depends on route days for communities outside Chilliwack. Typical turnaround is 5–8 business days; heavily soiled rugs, natural fibres and rugs needing extended drying may take longer. You must be able to grant safe access for collection and delivery. Rugs not collected by the customer after an agreed completion date may be subject to storage arrangements agreed at the time of booking.
8. Cancellation
You may cancel a scheduled pickup by contacting us before the pickup window. Once cleaning has commenced, the confirmed price applies. Any cancellation notice period or fee is confirmed at the time of booking.
9. Payment
Payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods and any deposit requirement are confirmed at the time of booking.
10. Liability
We carry business insurance and take reasonable care with every rug. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law and, other than in cases of negligence, does not extend beyond the value of the cleaning services provided. Proof of insurance is available on request.
11. Website content
Information on this website, including the rug care guides, is general and educational. It is not a substitute for inspecting a specific rug, and following it does not create a service relationship. Claims about years of experience, turnaround, guarantees and service coverage are statements made by iRPro Rugs about its own service. The IICRC designation held by Darren Miller is issued and verifiable through the IICRC.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
